The European build Mercedes Sprinter is a popular choice for people who want something that is drivable on a car licence and don't want to go as big as a Coaster. Even though the length of a Sprinter LWB is nearly 7 metre, these are more agile and a bit easier to drive then a Coaster. A lot of people who own a Sprinter, use the vehicle as a second car.

This Sprinter 4x4 makes for a particularly useful motorhome, it's automatic, four wheel drive, has low range as well.
One of these costs about $100.000 brand new, and the fitout as above, with all your imaginable extra's fitted like 4 solar panels, Redarc total power management system, inverter, shower with vacuum toilet, tv/dvd, LED lighting package, 4 metre awning, Dometic windows etc etc is about $40.000 on top. So up around $140.000 for a brand new vehicle, 4x4, automatic, with a brand new fitout to YOUR design or mine. A fitout like takes approx 6/8 weeks to complete.
